Ghee Flavoured Rice

A fragrant rice dish made with the richness of ghee and mild spices.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 2 tbsp Anaamrit ghee
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cardamoms
  • 1 clove
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups water

Method:

  1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat Anaamrit ghee in a deep pan. Add bay leaf, cardamom, and clove.
  3. Drain rice and add to the pan. Sauté gently in ghee for 2 minutes.
  4. Add 2 cups water and salt. Stir once and cover.
  5. Cook on low flame until rice is fluffy.

Serving Tip: Pair with dal tadka, paneer curry, or raita.

Ghee helps enhance the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins from rice and spices.
