At Anaamrit, every jar of ghee, bottle of cold-pressed oil, pot of honey, and bag of atta is hand-prepared on our Haryana farms and packed to order. Because our products are perishable food items, this policy is built around making things right when something goes wrong — not around returning consumables you've already opened. Read this carefully so you know exactly what to expect.
In short: we cannot accept returns of opened or unsealed food products for health and safety reasons. We will fully replace or refund products that arrive damaged, leaked, or sealed-broken, provided you report within 48 hours of delivery with a photo. Order cancellations are free before dispatch.
1. What we will replace or refund
We will issue a free replacement or a full refund (your choice) in these cases:
· Product arrived physically damaged — broken jar, cracked bottle, dented or torn packaging.
· Product arrived leaked or spilled inside the parcel.
· Tamper-evident seal was broken on arrival.
· Wrong product was shipped to you (different SKU, variant, or quantity than what you ordered).
· Product was past its printed best-before date on the day of delivery.
· Product was missing from a multi-item order.
2. What we cannot accept
To protect the health and safety of all customers, we cannot accept returns or refunds for:
· Opened, used, or partially consumed products.
· Products where the tamper-evident seal has been broken by you after delivery.
· Damage caused after delivery (e.g., dropped jar at home, improper storage).
· Subjective quality concerns about taste, aroma, texture, or colour where the product is sealed, unexpired, and undamaged — natural variations occur in farm-fresh, unprocessed foods like ours. We will, however, listen on a case-by-case basis and may offer store credit at our discretion.
· Orders refused at COD delivery without a valid reason. Repeated refusals may lead to your account being restricted from COD in the future.
3. Reporting window: 48 hours
All damage, leakage, or wrong-item claims must be reported within 48 hours of the delivery date shown by our courier. We cannot process claims raised after this window.
Please inspect your parcel as soon as it arrives. If you are travelling or away on the delivery date, message us within 48 hours of receiving the parcel and we will assess case-by-case.
4. How to raise a claim
The fastest way to reach us is WhatsApp. Email also works.

· Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10am – 6pm IST. Closed Sundays and national holidays.
What to include in your message
· Your order number (begins with #).
· A clear photo of the issue — damaged product, leaked packaging, or wrong item received.
· A photo of the outer shipping box and shipping label.
· A short description of what happened.
We need the photos to file a claim with our courier and to spot patterns in our packing. Without photos we cannot process the claim.
5. What happens after you raise a claim
We typically respond within 24–48 hours during working days. Here is what we will offer:
If your product arrived damaged or leaked
You may choose either:
· A free replacement, shipped within 2 business days at no cost to you. Tracking will follow via WhatsApp and email.
· A full refund of the product value, processed within 24 hours of approval.
In either case, please dispose of the damaged item safely — we do not require it to be returned.
If we sent the wrong item
We will ship the correct item to you at no cost within 2 business days. Depending on the product, we may ask you to keep the incorrect item or arrange a reverse pickup. We will confirm in our reply.
If your order was missing items
We will ship the missing item to you within 2 business days, or refund the value of the missing item — your choice.
6. Refund processing and timelines
Once we approve your refund, here is how long it takes to reach you:
Prepaid orders (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets)
Refunds are initiated within 24 hours of approval via Razorpay back to your original payment method. The amount will reflect in your account within 5–7 business days. Bank processing times can occasionally extend this — please allow up to 10 business days before raising a follow-up.
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders
Because we do not hold your bank details for COD orders, we will request them at the time of refund (bank account number, IFSC, account holder name). Refunds are transferred via NEFT/IMPS within 7–10 business days of receiving your bank details. We can also issue store credit immediately if you prefer — usable across the entire store.
7. Order cancellations and changes
Plans change. We try to make this painless within the small window we have.
Before dispatch
· Free cancellation — full refund issued.
· To cancel, WhatsApp us at +91 93505 34307 or email info@anaamrit.com within 1 hour of placing the order.
· Address changes are possible only before dispatch. Once a parcel is handed to the courier we cannot modify the address.
After dispatch
Once your order ships, we are unable to cancel it. You can either refuse delivery from the courier, or accept it and contact us about the damaged/wrong-item process above (if applicable). We do not accept change-of-mind returns for shipped consumable goods.
8. Cash on Delivery — important to know
· COD orders incur a flat handling fee of ₹50, displayed at checkout. This fee is non-refundable if you cancel the order after dispatch.
· Please be available to receive your parcel on the scheduled delivery date. Our courier partners attempt delivery 1–2 times; after that the parcel is returned to us (RTO).
· If your COD order returns to us undelivered and the reason was non-acceptance or unavailability, your account may be restricted from future COD orders. Prepaid options remain available.
· If our team contacts you on WhatsApp or phone to confirm a COD order before dispatch, please confirm promptly — unanswered confirmations may delay your delivery.
9. Lost or undelivered shipments
If your tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please:
· Check with neighbours, building security, or family members at the address.
· Wait 24 hours — late-scan delays do happen with courier partners.
· If the parcel is still missing after 24 hours, message us with your order number. We will file a delivery investigation with the courier and, where appropriate, ship a replacement or issue a refund without waiting for the courier to conclude their investigation.
For parcels stuck in transit for more than 10 days from dispatch (or 14 days for remote pincodes), please message us and we will take action immediately.
10. Bulk orders and corporate gifting
Bulk and B2B orders (typically 10+ units or order value above ₹15,000) are processed under separate terms agreed at the time of order. Refunds and replacements for bulk orders follow the same damage / wrong-item / 48-hour rules above, but cancellation terms differ — please refer to your bulk order confirmation or contact info@anaamrit.com with the subject line "Bulk" or "B2B".
11. Our right to refuse
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or replacement where, in our reasonable assessment, the claim does not meet the conditions above, where photographs do not support the claim, or where there is evidence of fraud, repeat misuse, or abuse of this policy. We always explain our decision and offer reasonable alternatives where possible.
12. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version shown on this page is always the one in effect. The latest update date is shown at the top of this policy. Material changes will not apply to orders already placed under a previous version.
