Kada Prasad (Atta Halwa)

A temple-style whole wheat halwa saturated with ghee.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup Anaamrit ghee
  • 1½ cups hot water

Method:

  1. Roast flour slowly in ghee until deep golden and nutty.
  2. Stir in hot water carefully, whisking to avoid lumps.
  3. Add sugar and cook until glossy and it leaves the pan.
  4. Finish when it begins to release ghee.

Serving Tip: Offer warm in small portions.

Health Note: Moderate portions provide quick energy with satiety.
