
Moong Dal Khichdi with Ghee

A comfort food that’s light, wholesome, and easy on the stomach.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup yellow moong dal
- ½ cup rice
- 2 tbsp Anaamrit ghee
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups water
Method:
- Wash rice and dal, soak for 15 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add turmeric.
- Add soaked rice and dal, sauté in ghee for 2 minutes.
- Pour 3 cups water, add salt, and stir well.
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Serving Tip: Drizzle extra ghee before serving with papad or pickle.
